You must be an Administrator to add students to a class.

First, log in to the Teacher Portal (https://apps.learn-and-go.com/).

In the Administration area, click Classes and students.

Using the dropdown menu at the top of the page, select the class you would like to add students to.

There are two ways to add students. You can add students one at a time using the manual option or upload them in bulk using our template.

Adding students manually

First, log in to the <a href="https://apps.learn-and-go.com/">Teacher Portal</a> (<a href="https://apps.learn-and-go.com/">https://apps.learn-and-go.com/</a>). In Lessons, click My Lessons. Here you will see any past lessons you have saved. <img src="https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/657d91a07c73640/a94c41c0-54c9-4c6c-aae8-96dbe4_17gabcp.png" alt="" /> Click on the lesson you wish to assign and ensure the details are correct. You can still edit the lesson details and content to fit your needs. Then, scroll down and click on the grey +. Click on the students you wish to assign the lesson to or click select all. Q: How do students access the Kaligo app?

Students will access and complete lessons from the 'Kaligo School' app which will need to be downloaded on school devices. For more information on installing Kaligo, please see our article on Technical Requirements. To access and complete lessons, students must open up the Kaligo app on their device. You now know how to access the Kaligo app for students!

Click Create and provide the first name, last name, DOB and laterality of the student and click Save. At this stage you can also select settings for visuals and difficulty level, take a look and the options, adjust the relevant settings and click Save. The student has now been added to your class.

Adding students in bulk

Click Bulk add and enter or paste student first names and surnames - one student per line. Keep in mind that you will need to add a "-" for children with 2 "First names" so that one of their names doesn't end in the "Surname" field. Then click "Save" at the bottom of the pop-up. Che

Creating a new lesson

First, log in to the Teacher Portal (https://apps.learn-and-go.com/).

In Lessons, click My Lessons. Here you will see any past lessons you have saved.

To create a new lesson, click on the Create a new lesson button. You will need to input lesson name, creation date, key stage and a description of the lesson and click Save.

Then, using the tick boxes, select whether this lesson is to be completed as Classwork or Homework.

Next, you can add the exercises by clicking on the grey + and select the exercise type and line options. If you would like to include your own list of words, select Free word(s) from the dropdown box. Then enter the words you wish to add followed by a space and click Save.

Finally, you have the option to record your own instructions that the students can play when completing the exercise. You can do this by clicking Record the instruction, click the Play button and record your instructions. When you're done, stop the recording and click Validate.

Deploying Kaligo School with Jamf School

Have more control over how your students use Kaligo School on managed devices.

Kaligo School can be deployed to student iPads using a mobile device manager (MDM) such as Jamf School.

App Store App Distribution

You can manually add Kaligo School to Jamf School from the App Store. First, you will need to sign in with your Apple ID before the app can be distributed. If you want to eliminate this step, you can download Kaligo School using Apple School Manager and assign the licenses to your users' devices instead. For more information, see Apps Purchased in Volume. Apps can be assigned to a device serial number on devices with iOS 9 or later.

Adding Kaligo School from the App Store

In Jamf School, click ${color}[#0000a0](Apps > Inventory) in the sidebar.
- Click ${color}[#0000a0](+ Add App.)
Choose ${color}[#0000a0](Add iOS App) from the pop-up menu.
- Upload ${color}[#0000a0](the Kaligo School app) to Jamf School in the pop-up dialog.

The app is added to the Apps table.

Distributing App Store Apps to a Single Device

After adding ${color}[#0000a0](Kaligo School) to Jamf School, you can distribute content to a single device.

* In Jamf School, navigate to ${color}[#0000a0](Devices > Inventory) in the sidebar.
* Click the device you want to distribute the app to.

Adding a teacher to your school account

You must be an Administrator to add other teachers to your school account.

First, log in to the Teacher Portal (https://apps.learn-and-go.com/).

In the Administration area and click Teachers

Click on the grey + at the top left-hand corner on the page and then fill in the first name/title, surname and email address of the teacher you wish to add.

If you would like this teacher to be an Administrator, click on the toggle so it shows Enabled and click Add

The teacher will receive an email to create their password and complete their setup.

Congratulations! You have now successfully added a teacher to your school account!
