# Setting your school handwriting policy

*You must be an Administrator to set the school's Letter and Number Choices.*

First, log in to the [Teacher Portal](https://apps.learn-and-go.com/) ([https://apps.learn-and-go.com/](https://apps.learn-and-go.com/)).

In the **Administration** area, click **Letter Choices**.

Here, using the dropdown menu, you can select the relevant **letter formation** - **capital, lowercase, cursive and number choices**.

Then, you can **select from A-Z** and **0-9** the formations that **align with your school's handwriting policy**. Play the videos to see how the letters and numbers are formed.

You can select a '**main template**' which is taught in your school, this will be demonstrated to the student in their lessons. You can also select a **supported template** - these will be accepted but they will not be demonstrated to students in the app.

**TIP:** You can access a **PDF version** of your school handwriting policy. In Letter Choices, select the relevant formation from the dropdown list and then click **PDF Export** in the top right-hand corner. From here you can **print or download** the file.
