Monitoring student's progress at school level

First, log in to the Teacher Portal (https://apps.learn-and-go.com/).

In Monitoring, go to School Analytics.

You cannot see the "School Analytics" tab? Please refer to the following article Accessing the School Analytics tab.

Performances per level

This charts allows you to see at a glance the Kaligo average of your school's students, per year group.

First, select a period of time.

Please note that the default period starts on September 1st of the ongoing school year until now. If you do not see any results, it may be because your students have worked on the past year: don't forget to reset the start date if needed!

Observe the average per year group and put your mouse on the dots for more details.

The exercise average is based on the scores given in the Kaligo app, for each exercise done by the student. The Kaligo baseline is set at 50%. When creating a baseline we looked at the minimum standard requirements for handwriting, for each year group/level across a number of international curriculums including French, England, Scotland and American. We combined the minimums to create a Kaligo benchmark.

Each year group is assessed on a different basis of Kaligo exercises, according to the English curriculum. Younger students of Nursery for example will only be assessed on pressure and graphism exercises while older students will be assessed on all types on handwriting exercises, as well as grammar exercises.

To see which exercise is assessed per yer group as well as the precise scores they got on the defined period, click on one year group.

Only the existing year groups of your Kaligo account will appear, this screenshot is just an example.

On this chart, you will see how many students are standing in which level of skills acquisition, per year group.

Monitoring detailed progress per year group

To compare student's performances between two periods of time and evaluate the progress, click on one year group.

Go into the "Compare" tab. Complete the two periods of time and click "Compare".

See the progress made and the exercises that still need improvement. Consult all details for further analysis in the table.

Monitoring school wide progress

On the right side of the screen, click on Learn more in the "My school" panel.

This charts shows a curve of progress over time. See the school average and details per year group. Click on the year group labels to show/hide their results.
