# Adjusting settings for individual students

First, log in to the [Teacher Portal](https://apps.learn-and-go.com/) ([https://apps.learn-and-go.com/](https://apps.learn-and-go.com/)).

In the **Administration** area, click **Classes and students**.

Using the **dropdown menu** at the top of the page, **select the class** your student belongs to and click on the student's avatar, then click **Settings**.

You can adjust settings related to **visual guidance** such as **background colour**, **line spacing** and **dynamic model speed**.

You can also adjust settings related to **difficulty** using the **feedback** tab. You can set your students as **working towards expected**, **working at expected** and **working at greater depth**. This will make it easier or **more difficult to get positive feedback**. You can also enable the function to **analyse shape only** and not direction, order, line spacing and pen lifts.

Once you are happy with the settings, click **Save**.

||| In order for the students to see those modifications, they have to log out and log in again on their device.

Congratulations! You have now successfully adjusted the settings for your student!
